AKC Registration for Your Miniature Schnauzer Puppy
When registering Miniature Schnauzer puppies, all variations of rare colors, such as white, parti colors, liver, liver and tan, liver pepper, and wheaten, must include two photos with the American Kennel Club paperwork. The AKC recognizes all of these colors, but you must send in photos to ensure that you are purchasing the puppy of your choice.
It is also necessary to include two photos along with your puppy’s AKC registration paperwork. The photos must have a complete front and side view of the puppy. Please make sure you also label the back of each photo with the litter registration number, the date of birth, and the full name you have given your puppy. You must mail these photos with the registration papers if your pup has a rare color.

Complying With the American Kennel Club Standards
The AKC is the only purebred dog registry in the world that maintains a systematic and sustained investigation and inspection effort to ensure compliance with the standards that support the health, safety, and welfare of Miniature and toy Schnauzers puppies and the environment in which they are maintained.
Over the years, the American Kennel Club has inspected Covington Schnauzers on multiple occasions, and they always find us to be strictly compliant. We hold our breeding practices to very high standards, so we appreciate that AKC does the same.
